The Queensland Virtual Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Academy (QVSA) program is not a school or place but a community of like-minded learners who want to enrich their knowledge, skills and collaborate with others in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The QVSA is a portal for creating this like-minded cohort and sense of belonging, delivering innovative and enhanced learning opportunities.
As QVSA students come from all over Queensland we harness the digital world to empower students who have never met to share information and collaborate.
As the QVSA name suggests the learning experiences will be delivered through an innovative, real-time, online learning platform which will increase accessibility and harness the power of like-minded collaboration and deep learning for our highly capable STEM students.
Through our virtual capability, we will create and nurture a highly interactive QVSA community and explore together new relationships and learning possibilities.
